The Itinerary

DAY 01: ARRIVE KATHMANDU (No meal)

Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, our representative and driver will meet you at the Tribhuvan International Airport and escort you to your designated hotel. The representative will help you to check into your hotel. In the hotel, you will be briefed about your daily activities during the trek. Overnight stay at a hotel in Kathmandu.

DAY 02: DRIVE MANTHALI (135KM, 4-5 HRS DRIVE)  B/L/D

Morning pick up from the hotel at 11:00 AM and drive to Manthali. On the way, you will be served a packed breakfast. After a 4-5 hrs. drive, you will reach the beautiful village of Manthali.

DAY 03: FLY TO LUKLA AND TREK TO HAKDING [2,652 M] |3HRS| B/L/D

After breakfast, we board a flight to Lukla and land on a steep mountain runway that brings us a new start to our trek at the village of Lukla (2,850 m). Even during the entire flight, we can enjoy panoramic sights of the great Himalayas of Nepal, including Mt. Everest (8,848m), Mt. Makalu (8,463m), Mt. Cho Oyu (8,153m), Mt. Lhotse (8,501m), Mt. Lhotse Shar (8,393m), Kanchenjunga, Gaurishankar, Ganesh, Langtang, etc. From Lukla, we head upward to Dudh Koshi Valley on a well-marked trail to Phakding. Overnight stay.

DAY 04: TREK TO NAMCHE [3440M] |6HRS| B/L/D

Leaving Phakding, we cross the river twice through high suspension bridges and arrive at Monjo, the entrance to the Sagarmatha National Park, which was set up in order to protect and preserve the fragile mountain environment. From here, we follow the path to reach Namche, which is the major trading village in the entire Khumbu region. If the weather is clear, we can get the first glimpse of Mt Everest. Overnight stay.Trek to Dovan via Bamboo and stay overnight.

DAY 05: REST DAY IN NAMCHEBAZAR [3440M]B/L/D

We spend our entire day in Namche by taking complete rest in order to acclimatise to gain altitude, plan for forthcoming trips and get habituated for trekking destinations. We also visit the Sherpa Museum and the nearby Khunde Hospital, which was set up by Sir Edmund Hillary and Everest View Hotel for sunset view of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse and Ama Dablam. Overnight stay.

DAY 06: TREK TO TENGBOCHE [3867M] |5-6HRS|B/L/D

The trail follows the path to theside of the valley, high above the Dudh Koshi River. We will get to see some great views of the mountain peaks of the Khumbu region, including Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse and Ama Dablam. As we move downwards, we pass through several Sherpa villages and teahouses and continue the hike to reach Tengboche by following the zigzag path. The path offers awesome sights of Rhododendron bushes with beautiful birds and superb mountain scenery. Tengboche is famous for its legendary monastery, the largest in the Khumbu region. DAY 07: TREK TO PHERICHE[4371M] |5-6HRS|B/L/D

We descend downhill from Tengboche through the forests and cross ImjaKhola (River).
The trail then follows the uphill path to the village of Pangboche, which faces Mt. Ama Dablam (6,856m). Joy of the trek will be further escalated by the views of mountains, forests, Gompas, rivers, etc. Further two hours of walking will take us to our last destination for today. Overnight stay.

DAY 08: TREK TO THUKLA [4500M] B/L/D

Early morning, we go on an acclimatisation walk. It helps your body to acclimatise and then trek to Thukla. It’s just a half-hour walk to Thukla. Overnight stay.

DAY 09: TREK TO LOBUCHE [4900M] |6-7HRS|B/L/D

After leaving Thukala, we trek uphill to Lobuche, passing through a wide valley, the Khumbu glacier, and several tea houses along the way. We walk up through Dungla, where we can also find the memorial stupas dedicated to the climbers and trekkers who lost their lives on Everest over many years.  Moreover, the trail also offers magnificent views of Mt. Lobuche, Mt. Pumari and Mt. Nuptse. Overnight stay.

DAY 10: TREK TO GORAK SHEP [5180M] |5-6HRS| B/L/D

In order to reach Gorak Shep, we haveto pass Kala Patthar and Khumbu glaciers, surrounded by astoundingly beautiful snow-clad mountains. We have an opportunity to meet Everest Climbers during the spring season on our way to Gorak Shep. Unbelievable surrounding beauty provides us with great relief for our tired feet. Three hours of further walking and we reach GorakShep. Overnight stay.

DAY 11: GORAK SHEP TO EVEREST BASE CAMP [5364M] & BACK TOGORAKSHEP | 7-8HRS |B/L/D

A very early start is required to reach the Everest Base Camp. It takes several hours as the trail weaves itsway through ice pinnacles and crevasses of the Khumbu Glacier.
We easily trek to Everest Base Camp. However, there are several ups and downs, mostly on a glacier path. There is a lot of meandering on rough terrain. As we reach the base camp, we enjoy the incredible melt patterns and admire the gently rounded ice towers on the upper part of the Khumbu glacier. The Everest Base Camp is stunningly beautiful. We can enjoy amazing views of Nuptse, Khumbuste and Pumori mountains from thebase camp. Overnight stay.

DAY 12: TREK TO PHERICHE [4200M] | 5-6HRS |  B/L/D

We need to walk downhill. A coupleof hours of walking will take us to the Himalayan Rescue Association (HRA), from where we continue the journey and pass Khumbu Khola, Imja Khola and the suspension bridge. Overnight stay at the tea house lodge.

DAY 13: TREK TO NAMCHEBAZAR [3440M] |6-7HRS|B/L/D

From Pheriche, our journey continues towards Namche. The trail takes us across rivers and rhododendron forests, amidst the views of Tawache, Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, AmaDablam, Kantega andThamserku mountains. We descend rapidly through pine forest where we can easily spot mountain goats, pheasants and other wild animals and birds. Overnight stay.

DAY 14: TREK TO LUKLA [2860M] |6HRS|B/L/D

This will be the final day of the trek, and the ultimate destination is Lukla. The path goes alongside the Dudh Koshi to reach Lukla. We cross several suspension bridges and pass by several monasteries and villages. Upon reaching Lukla in the evening, we have time to enjoy local drinks with Sherpa guides and porters. Overnight stay at the lodge.

DAY 15: FLY TO RAMECHHAP & DRIVE TO KATHMANDU  (Breakfast)

After having breakfast, you will walk to the airport for the flight to Manthali. Upon reaching the Manthali airport, our vehicle will be waiting for you. Drive back to Kathmandu, and upon arriving at Kathmandu, your guide will transfer you to the designated hotel. Overnight stay at a hotel in Kathmandu.

DAY 16: DEPART KATHMANDU (Breakfast)

After checking out of the hotel, our representative will take you to the international airport for your flight home. If you want to continue your stay in Nepal for short tours, i.e. National parks, rafting, mountain biking, hiking, etc., please do let us know. We will be proudly serving your needs.

Registration Process

Pay the first installment - Rs. 7500 / person. Balance can be paid 1 month before the trek

Fitness Form: Medical fitness form should be duly filled, signed and stamped by a doctor (MBBS and above)

Indemnity Bond: Indemnity Bond will be done from our side.​

Cancellation Policy

If cancellation is made one month or more before the trek, we will refund 100% of the paid amount (excluding Rs. 5000 incurred for the advance booking and other formalities).

If cancellation is made 15 to 30 days before the trek, we will deduct 25% of the amount paid.

If the cancellation is made within 15 days before the trek, we will refund 50% of the amount paid.

If the trek gets cancelled due to any natural calamities like war, floods, earthquake or any other event beyond the organizers control, we will refund the trek fees, deducting actual expenses incurred, depending on the stage of the trek.

Battery Charging/ Drinking water and beverages.

Trekking equipment’s as trekking poles, sleeping bag and others

Any other expenses due to political acts, acts of nature or any other reason which are beyond the control of Oasis Outdoors.

Baggage and personal insurance, including emergency evacuation.

Important Note:

There will be dormitory accommodation at the higher points of the trek, including Base Camp.

Heater is available at the dining area with extra cost.

You are travelling in an environmentally sensitive area; the use of plastic bottles is prohibited. Hence, you need to carry your own water bottles or a Thermos for personal use. Hot & Cold water can be refilled at the lodge with extra cost of INR 200–300 per refill.

Battery and mobile charging can be negotiated with the lodge owner and must be paid directly.

All above rates are valid till June 2025 exclusively for Indian passport holders only, based on our contract with hotels, government tax structure, USD exchange rate, fuel charges, etc. In case of any changes, rates will be revised accordingly.

Airfare and entrance fees are subject to change if revised by the concerned authority.
