About Bandhavgarh

Bandhavgarh, the park with the historical fragrance to it. The hunting grounds of the Rewa empire eventually turned to the most important national parks to see tigers not only in India but also all over the world. Other than Tigers and Leopards, mixed vegetation of Sal and Savannahs makes Bandhavgarh an abode of Spotted Deer, Sambhar Deer, Barking Deer, Wild Boar, Indian Gaur and Jackals among its 22 species of mammals and around 220 species of birds.

The mountains of Vindhyas with the wilderness in it awaits to unfold in front of you. So join us for this rocking safari.

The Itinerary

Day 1

Drive to Bandhavgarh. Embark on our first safari.

On our arrival in Jabalpur, we freshen up and have a sumptuous breakfast.  Drive for about three hours’ to Bandhavagrh. Post lunch, we enter the divine reserve for a jungle safari.

We will acquaint ourselves with the forest, it’s topography, landscape and also search for the star attraction…the tiger. After an introduction to the forest, we return to our beautiful lodge for some chai and an orientation session. A hot dinner would be followed by some much needed sleep.

Day 2 & 3

Morning and Evening safaris. Overnight at Bandhavgarh.

Four more safaris in one of India’s iconic national park would definitely have given us the Tiger and much more by now. We continue exploring the amazing jungles for the many wonders that it holds.

Nights would be dedicated to crackling campfires, some great stories, photography sessions and everything that Safari Nomads is known for!

Day 4

Morning safari

We give ourselves one last chance, one final glimpse of our favourite animals and then we retrace our way back to Jabalpur.
